Kaitlin graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy after graduating from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology with a specialization in Physiology.
Kaitlin always knew she wanted to work in healthcare. From a young age she was interested in how the body works and looked forward to learning about it in school. During her undergrad, Kaitlin discovered her passion for fitness as she started strength training at the gym, and from there she quickly determined physiotherapy would be a great field for her.
Kaitlin has furthered her skills through education in the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, completing her Level 2 Upper body certification in manual therapy. She has also taken courses in acupuncture through Acupuncture Canada.
Kaitlin has a special interest in treating the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and has a certificate in Evaluation and Treatment of Temporomandibular Disorders and Craniofacial Pain.
Her approach includes searching for the root cause of one's pain and dysfunction and using a combination of hands-on manual therapy, personalized exercises, modalities, and education to ensure each of her clients reach their specific goals and get back to the quality of life they want.
Outside the clinic, you can find Kaitlin at the gym or hiking with her husband and dogs.
